I’ve always been a fan of creating things that feel real; there’s something very special about capturing a moment that seems pulled from this world and placing it onto something as delicate as a piece of paper or a canvas.

My work centers on creating realistic / surrealistic art, grounded in the belief that aesthetics and technique serve as the foundation for expressing a concept, often directly inspired by quotes I’ve collected over the years or philosophical positions I find appealing.

My mind works logically and literally for the most part, which often makes my work feel structured like a mathematical equation, where a + b rationally equals c. Every human, animal, object, or atmosphere carries a biological, rational, historical, or logical purpose within the composition.

I acknowledge the power of words, even though I’ve struggled to express myself through them. Through my work, I aim to convey my beliefs, thoughts, and ideas while also inviting the viewer to reflect, question, or interpret what the piece evokes in their own mind.

I’m not here to tell a sad story or cry about my past; my background will always be reflected in everything I create, never imposed.
